In-House
Toolmaking Shortens Timelines |
|
|
| |
In-house
toolmaking is a key reason why Aucilla is a valued supplier
of custom molded polymer parts for leading manufacturers throughout
North America. This service also allows for closer communications,
shorter lead times, lower tooling costs, and rapid response
to engineering changes. In addition, Aucilla can often make
tooling repairs without disrupting production schedules! |

|
|
| |
Our
in-house tool room takes full advantage of current technology
by complementing computerized CAD/CAM/CNC interfacing, with
skilled tradesmen who are experts at tool-making. Another major
benefit of Aucilla's flexible method of tool design is the ability
to provide prototype parts quickly, and at surprisingly low
unit costs. |

The
Right Tool Reduces Your Costs |
|
|
|
| |
Our
engineers are afforded great flexibility in choosing the tool
that best suits the application. Your production requirements
are evaluated in respect to machine running time, in order to
determine which of our molding processes will provide the highest
quality at the best price. While most injection molders use
single- or multi-cavity molds, Aucilla's in-house mold designers
have developed two additional proprietary methods of mold design,
which provide substantial piece-part cost savings in actual
production runs. To learn more about Aucilla Modular Tooling
